Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying Shampoo Revitalizes Hair!

The Good: Moisturizes hair well, Cleans effectively, Does not smell bad
The Bad: Scent is not evocative or distinctive, EXPENSIVE
The Basics: Garnier Fructis's Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying shampoo is a good shampoo that does what it promises, even if it does so somewhat unremarkably.

I love my local discount store; they frequently get in products that are far more expensive other places and that I would not be able to enjoy at their full price. One such product is the Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying shampoo from Garnier Fructis. The Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying shampoo is a good, effective, shampoo that does what it promises, even if it does not moisturize hair in a particularly remarkable way and costs a little bit more than other, similar, shampoos.

I tend to stick to brands I know and like, even if I try their new products, and Garnier Fructis is well known as a quality brand. Their reputation was one of the big reasons I was eager to try the bottles of Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying Shampoo, despite it not bowling me over with a distinctive or interesting scent when I smelled it in the store. This shampoo cleaned very well and moisturized as it promised, but did not leave any scent on the hair.

Garnier Fructis shampoos are part of an expensive line of hair care products that tend to be found for an average price of $4.00 per 17.3 oz. bottle in most markets in the United States. The bottles are flat on the sides and tapered at the top, which makes them easy to hold when wet. Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying is a golden yellow translucent shampoo that has good viscosity and is very much a standard Garnier Fructis shampoo as far as consistency goes. The Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying shampoo comes with a flip-top cap for easy access to the shampoo with one hand while in the shower.

Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying is a shampoo; there is no trick or special skill to using it. Simply place a dollop on your hand and rub it into your wet hair until it lathers up. Then rinse and repeat if necessary. I have long hair and I usually can get away with a quarter-sized dollop to clean my hair with most shampoos. Fortunately, the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying shampoo lathers well and only requires the one application to adequately clean and moisturize hair. As a result, the bottle lasts at least two months.

The Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying Shampoo claims to both clean and moisturize hair, which it does when one used on a regular basis. After two weeks of daily use, I noticed my hair was less dry and cracked than before. This Fortifying shampoo cleans, makes hair more manageable, and appears to prevent split ends.

In normal daily use, Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying shampoo was an effective shampoo for both cleaning and strengthening hair.

As far as the scent goes, Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying has almost no scent and the scent it has is pretty much indescribable. The shampoo smells vaguely like apples, but the scent is neither strong, nor does it last long. The smell does not effervesce in a hot shower and it does not linger in the hair after it is rinsed out.

The Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Dry, Damaged Hair Fortifying shampoo rinses out of my hair remarkably easily, leaving no residue. This shampoo does all it promises, but does so without any flair, making for an excellent staple shampoo for those who want to fix their damaged hair!
